Our Story

Hi, I’m Tatiana, the founder of MyPlushieFriends. I’ve always been crafty. When I was younger, I learned to crochet scarves and hats, but eventually put my crochet hooks aside for a while.

I picked them up again when I wanted to make something special with yarn for my nephew’s Easter basket. That project became Crush the Turtle. Making him sparked an idea: I could create plushies to sell!

Living with a chronic health condition can make working outside the home difficult. Returning to crochet gave me a way to bring together my love of crafting and the possibility of building a business from home.

What started as a gift for my nephew became the inspiration for MyPlushieFriends. Thank you for being here and taking the time to get to know the person behind the plushies.
